How we compare prop firms

Where our data comes from, how we calculate every number and how we earn money.

Where the data comes from

We read each firm’s official website, help center and terms. Every account size, price and rule on PropsRank links back to the page we took it from. Trustpilot ratings come from the firm’s public Trustpilot page.

Every day an automatic check opens the official pages again. When something changes, a person reviews the change before it goes live, and it is recorded on the Rule changes page with the date and source.

How we calculate

Cost to funded = the first payment with today’s public or partner discount, plus any activation fee you pay after passing. Monthly plans count one month.

$ per 1K drawdown = cost to funded divided by the maximum drawdown in thousands. Lower means more risk room for your money.

Payouts: we use each firm’s payout frequency, profit buffer, caps, minimum payout and profit split. The calculator assumes your profit is steady; real results depend on your trading.

Account sizes keep the firm’s name (50K, 100K…) but we always show the real limits next to them.

How rankings work

Every ranking is sorted only by the numbers for the criterion you pick. In the top 4 we show one program per firm, so you see four different firms. Rankings are never sold and partners cannot pay to move up.

How we earn money

Some “Get funded” links are affiliate links: if you buy through them, the firm may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Codes we show are our partner codes or public codes. Sponsored content is always labeled “Sponsored”.

Not financial advice

Trading futures carries a high risk of loss. PropsRank compares rules and prices only. Always read the firm’s own terms before you buy.
